About the Role

Join UCLA Health’s Ambulatory Float Team as a Sr. Licensed Vocational Nurse and support patients across 25+ specialties, including Primary Care, Pediatrics, specialty, and surgical practices. You’ll provide patient care and clinical support across multiple ambulatory clinics while gaining experience with diverse patient populations and care teams throughout UCLA Health’s ambulatory network.

Travel Requirements
Travel to all UCLA Health Ambulatory Community Clinics throughout Southern California is required, and you must be physically present at assigned worksites. Assignment locations are subject to change.
Current staffing needs are primarily located in the Southwest Valley region, locations listed below. However, you will still be required to travel to locations outside of this region based on operational needs.

Salary Range: $38.54 Hourly – $50.84 Hourly
Required:
- Ability to be highly flexible, travel to multiple work sites within UCLA Health community based practices and work a variable schedule
- Possession of active license issued by the State of CA Board of Vocational Nurse Examiners with Intravenous Therapy and Blood Withdrawal
- Possession of active BLS/CPR Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Experience performing phlebotomy, injections, CPR, and other skills within scope of practice
- Ability to take vital signs, administer medications, and obtain drug refills
- Interpersonal skills in maintaining a cooperative working environment with the physicians, staff, and all health providers.
- Knowledge of all instruments and supplies to perform physical examinations and procedure
Highly desired:

Minimum of six months of experience working as an LVN in an outpatient ambulatory clinic or a similar healthcare setting.
