- Pre-procedure Preparation – Assess and prepare patients for endoscopic and other GI procedures, including reviewing of medical history, allergies, and ensuring informed consent is obtained.
- Assistance during procedure – Assist physicians and GI techs by anticipating needs and maintaining sterile environment.
- Post Procedure care – provide recovery care, monitor for complications, educate patients and families on post procedure instructions.
- Equipment handling – participate in setting up, operate and cleaning of equipments according to protocols, ensure proper functioning and maintenance.
- Documentation – Accurately document all aspects of patient care, including assessment, medications administered, procedural details, and recovery status.
- Collaboration – Work closely with the procedural team including physicians, techs and other RNs to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient outcomes.
- Emergency response – respond promptly to emergencies according to protocol.
- Infection Control and safety – Adhere to strict infection control policies and safety standards to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Flexibility – adapt quickly to the needs of a procedure based-unit, providing high-quality care on as as needed, per diem basis.
- Must be able to push, pull, lift, up to 35 lbs.

We’re seeking a highly, self-motivated nursing professional who is ready to join our team with:
- Current valid California RN License
- BSN required
- 2 years of previous GI RN experience (hospital setting preferred) required
- BLS from American Red Cross or American Heart association required
- ACLS from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Flexible and able to take required call.
