UCLA Health is seeking a highly skilled Staff Podiatrist to join the Division of Vascular Surgery. This clinician will provide direct patient care across multiple UCLA Health locations in the South Bay and Los Angeles, reporting to the Division Chief of Vascular Surgery. You will play a critical role in delivering vascular foot and limb preservation care, in collaboration with vascular surgeons, wound care specialists, and other members of the vascular team.
At UCLA Health, U can:
- Provide direct patient care and maintain timely, accurate documentation for patients at UCLA Health System locations or at other locations as requested by the Division Chief.
- Maintain hospital privileges and care for patients admitted to the identified facilities.
- Participate as a provider under Medi-Cal, Medicare, and third-party payor programs in which UCLA participates.
- Podiatrists will be taking call at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center, and UCLA West Valley Medical Center, providing consultations, follow-up, and surgical care for patients in emergency departments and inpatient units, as well as caring for outpatients in clinic.
The University of California, Los Angeles is required to provide an estimate of the salary range for this role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Salary offers are determined based on candidate qualifications and experience. The base annual salary range for this position is $142,100–$348,100 annually, based on a full-time FTE. Actual compensation will be competitive, reflect fair market value, and be prorated according to hours worked each month in alignment with University payroll policies. Please note, this position is not benefits-eligible and is listed as a contract role.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree required.
- Possession of an active California Podiatric Medicine license.
- Board-eligible or board-certified in Podiatric Surgery.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary care team.
- Commitment to excellence in clinical care.
