As the Clinical Laboratory Supervisor, you will lead a team dedicated to maintaining the integrity of our laboratory operations and upholding the highest standards of patient care. Key responsibilities include:
• Supervise the daily operations of the Immunogenetics Lab, ensuring seamless workflow and optimal performance.
• Implement best practices and protocols to ensure the accuracy and reliability of testing procedures.
• Provide guidance and support to a team of Clinical Laboratory Scientists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Salary Range: $112,900.00 – $256,900.00/year
• Current, valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or Clinical Histocompatibility Scientist (CHS) license and bachelor’s degree.
• At least 4 years of experience working as a licensed CLS, along with 3 years of lab experience or training in immunogenetics, histocompatibility, or transplantation immunology under supervision in an ASHI-accredited or ARB-approved lab.
• Demonstrated experience leading or supervising a team, either as a team lead or supervisor.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate others.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to driving positive change and achieving organizational goals.
• Must pass the Ishihara Color Vision exam, i.e. visual acuity including color differentiation.
