As a Licensed Psychiatric Technician, you will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to psychiatric patients. Your role includes implementing and evaluating care plans, performing assigned tasks, and collaborating with the nursing and multidisciplinary team to support patient well-being.
Salary range: $29.21-$38.55/Hourly
We’re seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated professional with:
- At least 6 months experience in a psychiatric inpatient setting or equivalent required
- California Psychiatric Technician Licensure required
- BLS required
- Demonstrated ability to provide individual and group activities to psychiatric patients on an acute psychiatric inpatient
- Knowledge of psychological functioning and deviations from normal
- Knowledge of growth and development throughout the life span
- Knowledge of techniques of therapeutic communication
- Knowledge of Drug administration
- Knowledge of management of assaultive behavior
- Knowledge of Evacuation, fire and disaster procedures
- Knowledge of HIPAA
