We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Administrative Clinical Care Partner to join our team, playing a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care while supporting healthcare professionals across a variety of medical settings. Working within the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) scope of practice, you will assist patients throughout the continuum of care, including admission, transfer, and discharge processes; support personal hygiene; assist with meals and excretory needs; and help ensure patient safety, comfort, and overall well-being. In addition to direct patient care, you may also provide clerical and administrative support to the designated unit to help maintain efficient daily operations.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate empathy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently and collaboratively with others to deliver compassionate, cutting-edge patient care while contributing to a positive and supportive team environment at UCLA Health.
This position floats to various units within the UCLA Health system below based on the patient census and the skills of the staff. Hospital locations include but are not limited to the following:
- Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center
- UCLA Santa Monica
- UCLA West Valley Medical Center
Salary Range: $26.57-$35.02 Hourly
We’re seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated professional with:
- Current, valid CA Certified Nursing Assistant certificate (CNA), required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, required
- No prior CNA experience required; One year CNA experience, preferred
- Clerical experience in an acute hospital environment, preferred
- Ability to complete an 8-hour computer data entry training course
- Ability to perform all delegated nursing and PT/OT/RT assisted tasks
- Understanding of basic medical terminology and abbreviations, preferred
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively with others
- Skill in evaluating and reporting emergent patient/unit information
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment under a heavy workload
