Venice Family Clinic is seeking a thoughtful, highly detail-oriented Prospect Research Coordinator who has experience working with donor management CRMs (ideally, Salesforce) in a fast-paced development environment. Working under the Advancement Services Manager, the Prospect Research Coordinator plays an important role in supporting the Clinic’s fundraising and external affairs efforts. Key duties of this role include maintaining and updating our Salesforce CRM, including gift processing, donor identification and research, reporting, system improvement implementation, and pulling moderately complex mailing and events lists. The Prospect Research Coordinator will also staff events, which may take place at night or on weekends.
Our Advancement Services team works under the Director of Development, Individual and Corporate Philanthropy, and handles a wide variety of requests from the fundraising team as well as from teams across the External Affairs Department.
Note, this position has a fixed hybrid schedule that requires the person to work fully on-site for the first 3-months initially; afterward it will require on-site work 2-days per week.
Salary offers are determined based on various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, and equity. The full salary range for this position is $30.56 – $60.82 Hourly. The budgeted salary range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is about $30.56 – $33.65 Hourly.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience performing gift processing, data management, and analytics and reporting using a fundraising CRM.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Possess a strong attention to detail, working knowledge of CRMs, and ability to work independently and follow through on assignments with accuracy.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and think critically in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency in completing assigned projects in a timely and thorough manner.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey information with accuracy and diplomacy.
- Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed, and the ability to travel between sites as needed.
Preferred:
- Proficiency using Salesforce donor database/CRM.
- Experience with prospect research techniques, tools, and data analysis.
