the Manager of Analytics – Growth, Operations, and Finance Intelligence will lead a team of analytics professionals in leveraging data and analytics to achieve the organization’s strategic objectives. This role encompasses overseeing day-to-day analytics delivery, managing stakeholder relationships and expectations, and shaping a forward-looking strategy to harness analytics and cutting-edge technologies, such as AI, to deliver valuable insights.
The Manager will collaborate closely with the Director to maximize the impact of data, analytics, and emerging technologies in supporting end users across the organization. The team’s focus will center on growth, operational efficiency, and financial intelligence, addressing the needs of Medicare Advantage, the Faculty Practice Group, the Medical Center, the School of Medicine, and other key areas.
Responsibilities include:

Driving the use of analytics to support organizational priorities and strategic goals.

Ensuring high-quality, timely delivery of analytics services and solutions.

Leading efforts to explore innovative technologies, including AI, to enhance data-driven decision-making.

Deep expertise in Epic’s Cogito roadmap and SQL-based reporting.

Strong understanding of statistics and data science.

Proven experience applying AI in analytics to solve complex challenges.

A growth mindset and a passion for leveraging the latest technologies to advance healthcare initiatives.
This flexible hybrid role allows for a blend of remote and on-site work, requiring presence on-site about 10-20% of the time, and as needed based on operational requirements. Please note, travel to the “home office” location is not reimbursed. Each employee will complete a FlexWork Agreement with their manager to outline expectations and ensure mutual understanding. These arrangements are periodically reviewed and may be adjusted or terminated as necessary.
Salary offers are based on a variety of factors including qualifications, experience, and internal equity. The full salary range for this position is $112,900 – $256,900 annually. The University anticipates offering a salary between the minimum and midpoint of this range.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • Previous experience managing analytics, reporting services, or other technical functions and teams in a healthcare environment • Leadership and managerial track record, with a proven record of leading and managing change • Record of applying analytics best practices to Machine Learning and/or practice of applying AI tools in analytics • Extensive knowledge of best practices regarding analytics, workflows, policies, procedures, systems and culture in the healthcare environment required • 5 Years Healthcare experience required • Certification in Epic Clarity Data Model (preferred) • Knowledge of data warehouse concepts, data structures and reporting required • Senior-level knowledge of SAP Business Objects, PowerBI, and/or Tableau architecture, functions, features, and capabilities • Understanding of SQL as well as relational and multidimensional designs • Strong problem-solving and metadata skills • Strong interpersonal and communications skills • Organizational skills and customer service orientation • Demonstrated ability to influence and shape consensus, lead group discussions and presentations to clinical and business operations leaders from across the organization • Ability to establish and maintain a spirit of cooperation and respect, flourish in an unstructured environment, and always engage in professional and ethical conduct • Ability to remain calm in difficult and stressful situations • Must recognize problems, evaluate, and refer to the appropriate channels for action • High functioning team skills, including active listening, rapport building, effective written & verbal communication, receiving and delegating work assignments • Ability to probe for information about the underlying needs of the organization • Ability to identify, document, resolve and/or escalate issues and maintain a complete issues log • Ability to research organize, analyze, and synthesize data to support effective decision making • Ability to manage multiple and competing tasks
