In this exciting and rewarding role, you will deliver outstanding nursing care to patients in our 5MN Intermediate Unit. As a vital member of our team, you will provide clinical leadership by supervising nursing interventions, delegating tasks, and guiding team members to ensure the highest standard of care.
You will also assess the educational needs of patients, families, and staff — delivering targeted clinical instruction and fostering a collaborative, supportive work environment. Your expertise will be key in developing and implementing individualized care plans, in partnership with a multidisciplinary team, and in providing clear, detailed care instructions that empower patients and families alike.
Salary Range: $62.43 – $92.81 hourly
We’re looking for a highly skilled, self-motivated nursing professional who brings the following qualifications:
- Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license – required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) – required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association – required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Step-Down or Telemetry unit – required
- Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) – preferred
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification – preferred
- Demonstrated ability to implement appropriate nursing interventions consistently
- Proficiency in performing comprehensive patient assessments, including historical, physical, and behavioral evaluations
- Strong skills in developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Official transcripts and/or original diploma from a registered nursing program must be provided upon hire
