Reporting to the Integration Services Supervisor for Information Services and Solutions (ISS), this position will have significant impact and influence on projects related to Interface Engine, Epic Bridges, and APIM infrastructure. Regularly leads projects of critical importance to the organization; these projects carry substantial consequences of success or failure. This position has responsibility to direct program with organizational purview and understanding that involves Interface Engine, Epic Bridges, and APIM. The job responsibility is to architect interface engine framework and provide guidance to other team members on technical needs, troubleshooting guidance and project implementation. This person must have strong technical knowledge, good communication skills and should be a good team player. This is a flex-hybrid role which will require you to be onsite at least once a month or as required by operational need. Please note that there are no reimbursements for travel to “home office” location. Each employee must complete a FlexWork Agreement with their manager which will outline arrangement parameters and aids both parties in fully understanding expectations. Arrangements are regularly evaluated, and are subject to termination. Salary offers are determined based on various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, and equity. The full salary range for this position is $116,500 -$282,300 annually. The budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is approximately between the minimum and $190,000 annually.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems or a related field.
Five years of experience in job offered, or as a software engineer or a related occupational title. Alternatively, the employer will accept three years of experience.
•Demonstrated experience with JAVA, JUNIT, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Quarkus, Apache Camel, Spring Boot, J2EE architecture and development.
•Demonstrated experience in all phase levels of architecture development in Dev/Sec/Ops area.
•Demonstrated experience in analysis, design, implementation, testing, and migration, as well as monitoring and supporting many systems or applications.
•Demonstrated experience with MLLP, HTTPS, JMS, SFTP, Database, IBM MQ or equivalent middleware.
•Demonstrated proficiency in Bash and Shell Scripting.
•Demonstrated knowledge of RESTful API, JSON, and SOAP web services.
•Demonstrated knowledge of Github Actions, Helm, and CI-CD technology.
•Demonstrated experience with healthcare data which includes HL7 and FHIR.
•Demonstrated experience in project management, including developing system workflow and business process flow analysis and design, and effectively communicate complex architecture.
•Should be able support business operation including day-to-day incidences, service request, change management, and on-call duties.
