The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is seeking to hire a full-time Training Coordinator to join the UCLA Prevention Center of Excellence (COE). The COE provides workforce development, training, coaching, and consultation for providers in Los Angeles County, with a focus on supporting adults, children, and families at high-risk for mental health challenges due to adversity, trauma, and loss.
You will provide a variety of training coordination and administrative support, including:
- Work closely with COE team members, including Senior Training Managers and the Training Operations Manager to coordinate COE trainings
- Develop and implement project communications, including scheduling of trainings and events
- Prepare materials for live and virtual trainings
- Coordinate training facilities, catering, audio-visual, and other training needs
- Create and maintain systems to easily and effectively track training information and data
- Assist with data analysis and preparation of project reports
- Provide customer service support to individuals and organizations that receive training live or virtually
- Process reimbursements for project-related travel and training expenses
Salary range: $30.36/hr – $43.49/hr
BA or BS degree preferred.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Skill in keeping accurate records.
Demonstrated attention to detail.
Demonstrated experience developing online and print content.
Skill in developing rapport with individuals from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
Knowledge of website and online learning center programming tools including, but not limited to, Drupal.
Knowledge of the Box content management and file share system.
Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and Power Point.
Knowledge of collaborative workgroup and reporting tools, including SalesForce, Access, and SharePoint.
Knowledge of email system operations including password management.
Demonstrated ability to manage print and production orders and invoices and interact with various vendors.
Demonstrated ability to use social media for marketing and Constant Contact or other email marketing system.
Ability to operate personal computers (both PC and Mac).
Ability to work effectively and closely as part of a team effort.
Demonstrated ability to conduct resourceful problem solving.
Ability to work flexible hours.
Ability to manage competing deadlines.
