The Storekeeper is responsible for ordering, receiving, distributing, and delivering medical and linen supplies across UCLA Health facilities in a timely and accurate manner. This role plays a critical support function for patient care units, clinics, and procedural areas, including interventional and radiology departments.
Responsibilities:

Receive, stock, and distribute linen, supplies, and equipment according to department standards and inventory procedures.

Maintain inventory accuracy through physical counts, data entry, and documentation.

Fill and pack orders; deliver supplies to designated areas across the health system.

Organize, clean, and restock inventory holding rooms and supply areas.

Reconcile packing slips with purchase orders and delivered items.

Collaborate with clinical staff to understand product needs and staging preferences.

Use handheld devices or supply chain software to manage inventory and replenish PAR levels.

Recommend inventory adjustments and cost-saving initiatives based on usage trends.

Adjust PAR levels as needed to align with changing clinical demand.

Assist in setting up and modifying items within the supply management system.

Perform heavy manual tasks, including lifting items up to 50 lbs and pushing linen carts up to 400 lbs.
- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Able to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willing to contribute ideas for process improvements and operational efficiency
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Comfortable using handheld devices or computers for data entry
- Able to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately
- Self-disciplined and able to meet deadlines without constant oversight
- Must be able to lift, carry, and transport supplies up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to push and pull linen carts weighing up to 400 pounds
- Inventory management experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
- Experience with electronic ordering using handheld devices is a plus
