In this role, you’ll work in a warehouse setting where you’ll help keep UCLA Health running smoothly by managing medical supplies. You’ll be responsible for receiving deliveries, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and making sure supplies are delivered to our hospitals and clinics on time. Your work will directly support patient care across the health system.
Salary Range: $23.97-29.79/hr
Required:
- Required to hold valid driver’s license, have a driving record that is in accordance with local policies/procedures, and/or enroll in the California Employer Pull Notice Program.
- Ability to operate a University vehicle to deliver supplies to multiple off-site locations.
- Ability to push/pull up to 100 pounds and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Experience utilizing heavy duty transport carts, furniture dollies, supply dollies, cargo van, box truck, electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack, and forklift.
- Ability to maintain equipment, truck, and van by completing preventive maintenance requirements and arranging for repairs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of materials management information system and other vendor software.
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Strong communication skills with a strong customer service emphasis.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic computer skills.
- Ability to strictly obey the healthcare regulations for infection control.
- Consistently maintains good guest relations interdepartmentally, intra-departmentally, using English language in both written and verbal format.
