The Public Mental Health Partnership (PMHP) is seeking to hire a full time Clinical Quality Analyst (CQA) to conduct fidelity reviews for ACT/FACT teams across California, as part of its work as a California Center of Excellence (COE) under the BH-CONNECT Initiative. The CQA will conduct fidelity reviews on-site (in person) at team sites in public mental health clinics; extensive travel is expected.
By independently completing semi-structured interviews, medical record reviews, structured observation, and consultation with other CQAs, the CQA will monitor sites throughout California to ensure fidelity to ACT/FACT requirements.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain impeccable datasets and documents, ensuring data security and privacy.
- Analyze collected, complex data and translate into ratings for fidelity scale, and write audience-appropriate, narratives and reports on key findings to share with multiple stakeholders
- Based on fidelity review, provide coaching and support to ACT/FACT teams to enhance service delivery
- Coordinate cross-functionally with leadership, other CQAs, and other core staff, to flexibly respond to changing needs to complete timely fidelity reviews and reporting, and oversee the full cycle of the QA process for their assigned ACT/FACT sites
- Assist training team in developing curriculum, and deliver training both in-person and virtually
- Extensive travel to clinic sites for onsite fidelity review, in Los Angeles County, and/or other locations throughout Southern California.
Travel: From now until the summer of 2026, this flexible hybrid role will be mostly remote with some travel required to ACT/FACT sites in Los Angeles County and surrounding counties. Starting in the summer of 2026, extensive travel to these sites will be required for onsite fidelity reviews.
Pay Range: The salary to be offered will be determined based on various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, and equity. The full salary range for this position is $68,800.00 – $141,000.00 annually. The budgeted salary range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is about $68,800.00 – $90,000.00 annually.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a mental/behavioral health related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Direct experience working in, and/or leading, community-based teams
- Proficiency with MS Office software, including Word and Excel
- Experience communicating complex information to people with varying levels of education/training and different learning styles
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal style that facilitates stakeholder engagement, and is person-centered, strength-based, and recovery-oriented
- Ability to analyze and synthesize large amounts of data and prepare clear reporting and recommendations for clinic sites throughout California
- Experience leading or participating in program evaluations, fidelity reviews, quality assurance, quality
- Ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously
- Must have access to reliable transportation for travel to service delivery sites throughout Los Angeles County and/or California at large
- Must be willing to travel extensively in Los Angeles County, neighboring counties, and/or California at large
Highly Preferred:
- Advanced degree in a mental/behavioral health related field i.e. MSW, PhD, MA, PsyD, PhD or EdD
- Demonstrated thorough knowledge of evidence-based clinical models for serving individuals with severe mental illness such as Full Service Partnership (FSP), Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), Forensic Assertive Community Treatment (FACT), Housing First, Critical Time Intervention (CTI), Intensive Case Management (ICM), and/or similar programs
- Knowledge of the mental health issues impacting individuals experiencing severe mental illness, homelessness, and/or co-occurring disorders
- Experience providing clinical support, including training/consultation, for staff at remote sites who are dealing with challenging cases and caseloads
- Training expertise focused on the complex issues faced by community-based teams teams and their clients
Preferred:
- Familiarity with collaborative workspaces, such as Google Drive, Box, and/or SharePoint
